Trading the Stock Market is a profession just like any other job out there. Whether you are a doctor, dentist, lawyer or day trader you are in it to make a living. Many day traders never consider getting a Stock Market Education but you never see a doctor operating on a patient without any prior education. However you often see day traders pulling the trigger on trades without any education. When you step back for a second and think about it I am sure you can see the problem. Just because you can trade without education does not mean you can trade profitable.   The reason so many traders don't think about this problem is that the broker does not demand to see a degree before the day trader can open an account. There are no requirements for any Stock Market Education. You cannot really blame the day trader for trying. I am sure a lot of people would try to become doctors if they did not need to study so many years and pass so many exams. If day traders realize this early on they can save a lot of grief as they will not throw money out the window in the form of bad trades. Some traders though blow out the account before even thinking about Stock Market Education. This is especially true when trading using leverage such as trading the Futures or Forex.   It is important that the day trader treats his/her trading career like any other career. Get the right foundation by getting a Stock Market Education.
